Advantages – my main strengths in shooting are power shots, which are shots that you use your laces to put your foot through the ball and it can really throw the keeper of balance and can make it hard for them to save the shot. The best way to create a lot of power behind your shots is to land on your shooting foot after taking the shot. Another one of my strengths is a curve shot, which is when you try and bend the ball using the inside of your foot and try and curve it around the keeper and into the goal. This is an excellent way to execute your shot because it is very accurate unlike the power shot which can go anywhere.
Disadvantages – I am not very good with long shots because you have to create a lot of power behind your shot when you are shooting from that far out. One way in which I could improve my long shots are by observing the goalkeepers positioning and I can try and make it hard for him to reach and aim for the corners of the goal, and mainly keep my body over the ball when taking the shot.
